I am an avid photographer, who tries to capture the essence of what's around me. This can be in the form of a straight landscape or animal shot, as an intimate view, as an abstract through going in close or using the menus in my camera.

I edit most of my images in Lightroom, using Photoshop for the more difficult 'operations' such as removing cables, wires, or those pesky little spots that I keep having no matter how much I clean my gear. :-)

Originally from Southern Germany (Bavaria) I have lived in the States for 30 years. 6 years ago, I got really serious about my photography and spend much time practicing my art.
