Stillwater Free Library is a free association library housed in a 135-year-old Epsicopal Church formerly known as St. John's. The library itself began in 1949, and we received our provisional charter from New York State on September 18, 1958.
We have a children's section with beautiful stained glass windows. A YA section housed in a teen loft. Free access to high-speed internet and one-on-one help from the staff.
Always looking for a way to get our services out to the community of Stillwater, we have an attractive, user-friendly site that everyone is welcome to post comments to or simply IM for help!
We are open Tuesdays through Fridays 10-7 and Saturdays 10-2. Join us for Local Author visits, Knitting, Book Discussions, Storytime, or just good conversation!
