I was a professional glass blower for almost 20 years and ran a hot shop/gallery in Kingston, Ontario for 6 of those years. Now, since we move around a lot, I have been working with a medium that is much more portable. I love the fact that polymer clay has many of the characteristics of hot glass - malleable, brilliant colours, ability to build millifiori canes - I could go on and on... I don't miss the heat and burns from hot glass though!

Now we are living in Gatineau, Quebec - right across the river from Ottawa, and right beside the wonderful Parc de la Gatineau! Hope we don't have to move soon...

In case you're wondering, my name on etsy is ' stillpointworks'.

Also, I'm now on Zibbet - a great new site!

As well, you can find me at my blog which has to do with my 'voyage into polymer'!
