Hi
I was a novice photographer with a very simple and "cheap" camera (sorry to my boyfriend who gave it to me). It's was a HP Photosmart M417. Despite the technical limits I tried to take nice pictures. In the beginning I tried to change them as little as possible after I 'd taken them. I always thought: if they failed, they failed. My best friend (Dailydog) however convinced me in trying to alter them if the result is much better. So now I do... Now I have a Canon Eos 40D. I still have to get to know it but I have some experienced Flikr friends who can give me advice and I hope to become a nice photographer.
By the way, I don't favorite ad random: I only favorite pictures I really like: they should be pictures I would have liked to have taken myself. There are in my favorites set a lot of pictures: that means there are a lot of great photographers on Flickr and if I favorite one of your pictures, you may consider it a big compliment!
