About my photos

I'm an amateur photographer who once trained at art college but have learnt more through flickr and keeping a camera with me than I did during that time.

I've also learnt that the best images don't come from the best cameras, although it cone sometimes help. Many of the most popular pictures here are taken using low resolution camera phones, many through different cameras I've owned over the years including my much beloved Pentax K1000 film camera.

Images often end up in photoshop although I find iphoto is good for quickly knocking images into shape, even if it is more limited.

My images are free to use for non commercial use and have been used for CD covers and wall prints by people in the past.
