I was never into photography when it was all dark rooms and solutions (although I respect those who have expertise in that area), but digital photography, with its instant effects, transferability, ease of manipulation, etc., has caught my imagination. Technically, I cannot hold a candle to many on here, but enjoy taking shots that will remind me of places I've been, as I love travel. Carrying my camera (since I got one small enough to carry in my pocket) has caused me to look at things through new eyes, seeking out what is noteworthy, iconic, or statement-making about reality.
