About TalkingTree / Steven Erat  

I'm a digital photography student, part time, at Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts, expecting graduation in November 2008. I recently joined an artist's co-op at a converted textile mill called Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, Massachusetts, studio 4-12 . There I hope to be able to explore creativity and technique far beyond what I've done so far.

Professionally, I work on the Flex SDK engineering team (its a Web software technology) at Adobe. I consider myself to be a general computer technologist with a love of Digital Photography, Photoshop, and Lightroom, as well as Linux and ColdFusion. Before my career at Adobe, I was a Biologist working in Neuroscience research.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, I was transplanted to the Boston, Massachusetts area in 1994. Lived in Concord, MA for most of the time in New England, but have also lived in Lexington, Concord, and Gloucester before buying my first home in Bolton, MA, about an hour west of Boston.
