I'm a portrait design artist located west of Boston. I specialize in retail, fashion, and editorial portraiture. I also do actor headshots. Check out my portfolio and you'll see I do very high quality digital retouching in general, and I specialize in beauty retouching in particular. My beauty retouching is a careful process that is not overdone.

Although I have a 500 s.f. studio space, I also love to produce location/environmental portraiture.

Drawing on my understanding of light, technical skills, and retouching abilities, I create strong, visually intriguing imagery with powerful composition and dramatic mood. My final images are produced to an artisan level of quality.

My formal photography education was completed at The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University (CDIA BU). I studied with master photographers including Rob van Petten, Jennifer Hudson, and Tim Lynch among others. I am a blue ribbon winner at the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Commercial and Industrial Photographers of New England (CIPNE).

For almost 10 years I worked at Adobe (makers of Photoshop and related CS software) where I gained a great deal of experience with digital imaging and web technology. You can find my studio at #412 in Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, MA where I am a member of the Artists Association.
