Well, I'm just an amateur photographer really. I only recently got into this when I got my first DSLR, a Canon 1000D (entry level) and I've just been learning as I go.

My good friend Andy Johnson writes reviews for a music site (www.thelineofbestfit.com) and I've been fortunate enough to tag along to some of the gigs he reviews, acting as his photographer, which has been amazingly enlightening, and I think is a excellent way to become familiar with SLR photography. Also it's nice to see my pictures published on a website!
