Me: I'm currently working towards a bachelor of fine arts. I love to draw, paint and take photos. As I complete this degree, I plan to work as a production assistant in the summertime on local Vancouver film productions.

I've already completed an associate of arts degree in creative writing; as well as a fine arts foundation certificate; a business management certificate; as well as a marketing management diploma.

Student Politics: In November 2006 I was re-elected to the Kwantlen Student Association as the Society's Executive Director of Finance, after fighting a corrupt group of students that had taken the Society over for a year and a half. The fight took us to the Supreme Court of BC where a court ordered election was called. And now the process of cleaning up continues. In February 2008 and February 2009 I was twice re-elected to the position, which I held until March 31, 2010.

From November 2001 - August 2005 I served four consecutive terms as a student representative on Kwantlen University College's Board of Governors. And from November 2000 - August 2004 I served four terms on the Kwantlen Education Council. In 2007 I was re-elected to the Education Council and was recently re-elected to what will be my sixth term on that body. Overall, I love working hard to improve student life on campus and to create more of a campus community.

Other Work: In 2006 and 2007, I worked a full time job working at a Human Resource Services firm that specialized in conducting pre-employment background checks for other companies. My involvement in student politics again as well as more coursework lead me to have to leave this firm.
