Here's a big surprise - I'm really into birds. My interest in birds led to my interest in photography. I pretty much wore out my first camera (Canon 20d) and have just about worn out my 40d as well. I have a number of lenses including a 100-400 IS Zoom, a 300mm f/2.8 lens and a 180mm Macro.
I spent a couple of years working for the Hawk Migration Association of North America and spend every spare moment in the fall on the side of a mountain counting migrating hawks (and taking a few pictures).
