I'm a self taught artist-hermit--working in multiple-mediums--and journeying on terra-firma amidst the chaotic joy of this often beautiful and fragile existence--connecting and striving to be a part of a greater thing--with a tentative but positive greeting at day's beginning and an earnest attempt to make each day count--by it's end.
I come from the middle class milque toast of the middle west---raised on the non nutrition of Wonder Bread, Ovaltine and heaping helpings of American Familial Dysfunction-with generous church potluck desserts of green jello with carrot shavings topped with Theological Hypocrisy.
At a young age I fled to humid lands of perpetual sun and warmth...to the south---to La Floridana-- Miami, Key West, Tampa, and on to Central American adventures--my early youth spent in rain forest jungles, on the beaches, the cayes and the corral reef of the Western Caribbean .
Artist. Writer. old guard political/social/activist. Maitre D'. wine snob. Adventurer. Beach Bum. woodsy Thoreauvian.
...continually looking for my balance.
I find myself-- now, having moved on--finding comfort, and solitude, hermiting and making art on a small wooded eastern mountain. under a gypsy rainbow...--
