An arty and musical photographer from Glasgow, Scotland but now living a few miles outside the city. Share my life with my daughter Jennifer, partner Marie and our cat Bosley!! Have just joined the 50 Plus Club....which am told is good and when life begins in earnest!! Also cheaper car insurance!!
Love travel, and as a member of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Chorus I have travelled extensively. But, never much time for photography on these trips. Over the years I have played French Horn and sung as well as baton-waved for my own group, Scottish Chorale.
Other loves? Music...concerts...listening, performing. Books, bookshops and reading. Coffee and good coffee shops, olives, good wine and malts. People and family. Water, Waterfalls and the sea....can't keep me away from them!!
Run photography workshops independently and for the local council covering everything from basic beginners courses through to more advanced work as well as photo workshops and photo days out.
Some future projects for 2010-2012 include a trip to Florida & a shuttle launch and sunshine and family. Possible trips for next two years include Venice and Valenzia, Canada as well as, hopefully, trips to Provence and Barcelona. Apart from that there is lots to photograph in Scotland and the Lake District.
Loves portrait and landscape photography as well as travel. Favourite places? Far too many, but, thinks Barcelona is probably the worlds most amazing city, and, as for Gaudi....words don't do his work justice, you really need to see it.
