Stencil Nation's photostream

Hey there, I just released a book with Manic D press here in San Francisco, CA. Stencil Nation: Graffiti, Community, and Art hit the bookshelves June 1, 2008 and is available online too. It has over 500 photographs from about 300 artists from 28 different countries. It features some amazing photos of classic stencils from the 1970s and 1980s as well as fresh work from the likes of Logan Hicks, Adam5100, Banksy, and more. Hopefully you'll also be into grabbing a copy of the book. It won't cost too much! Promise.

Who am i?
obsessed with photographing stencil art, but also use my skills on other things (industrial waste, nature, promo shots, etc.)

Using a PowerShot A95 right now. Have an x-700 SLR as well, but it's in mothballs (can't afford to develop film). I've been taking photographs since I was 12. Used a 110 back then, and a Kodak Disc camera briefly as well. Got my first SLR as a teenager and wore it out eventually.

Don't publish many photos on flickr b/c I have my own huge photoblog over at Stencil Archive. Almost 10,000 photographs over there at current count!
