Stegorek is the mutant hybrid spawn of Dr Adolf Steg ~
www.worldofsteg.co.uk and Andy Paciorek ~ www.batcow.co.uk/strangelands. It is a deranged art organism that spews forth drawings, paintings comics and montage things.
It sometimes absorbs other artists such as pStan Batcow, Crayola Summers, Tony Trowbridge, Carlito Juanito and unwittingly Kev O Neill. Collectively this raggle-taggle rabble of racoon-like ruffians form THE PRE-STEGOREK BROTHERHOOD.


( Stegorek is a) ..."cut up scissor/paintbrush/pen/computer etc. experiment exposing the diseased and sick remains of a capitalist 24/7 media soaked, talentless artistic/ celebrity culture dumbed down to shit in the early part of the 21st century that is so modern that it feels compelled to remake every film from the last quarter of the 20th century because they are afraid of embracing anything really new, a vast visual experiment in the post blair and early brown years of a fractured/broken/splintered britain as seen by two artists who are safer with scissors and glue than a knife or a gun."

(Stegorek is..) a visual automatic-art release of pent-up vitriol borne from living in a land governed by mindless chav gangs and corporate earth-rapists with fat ties. A land where Thatcherism is still alive and rancid and in a world where injustice and atrocity are the norm. A world where the vacuous first-world masses are satiated with the opium of the cult of shallow celebrity. Stegorek is constructed entirely via post and e-mail and is as such an experiment in the communication of isolation and alienation.
