I'm a retired cartographer who loves to travel. Luckily my very patient wife loves to do the same. For many years I shot Velvia on a Canon. In 2011 I upgraded to a 5D Mark II and a Canon EF 24-105 to go with my Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS USM. For over 20 years we have done annual hiking trips in Europe and enjoy the cities, towns and rural areas as well. We are now exploring parts of the USA. I have visited all 50 states. Flickr has been a fantastic discovery for sharing photographic as well as life experiences. It has rekindled the flame of looking closely at the world around us. Thanks to all that participate.
