i'm new to FLICKR and i'm on my old computer so i'm posting a lot of very old photos...some of them may be boring, sorry. i plan on putting all of my pictures on here eventually, even if they're bad, so check back and you won't be nearly so dissapointed...hopefully.

the litany
i was born in new jersey and moved to a small town in north carolina called winston-salem who's main export was cancer. i hated it there, left when i was 16 for new york and then took a bus to san francisco with my boyfriend preston (we're still together) to go be homeless and punk. in retrospect being homeless in san francisco wasn't so bad during the tech boom. that's when i first got an email address and decided computers are my friends...now i can write javascript in my sleep.

anyway, i've lived all over the country and i've been learning mandarin, french, and spanish so i can communicate better wherever i end up. i'm starting on arabic next. i guess some people would call me a nomad, but i just haven't found anywhere i'd like to call home yet.

i plan on organizing my pictures by cities because each move begins another chapter in my life.

oh, i also own a small business making and selling leather belts and bracelets. i've been doing that for 5 years now. its stressful and unreliable but it also allows a lot of freedom.
