  It was a bold stroke to plan a campout with her Flickr friends only a few days before she plans to move halfway across the state. She will have some challenges in her new location in or near Port Townsend, but no doubt she'll rise to meet them all with grace.

  "You know what they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words"; unfortunately there's no single picture in the world that I've seen that can do Darlisa justice, which I guess is going to make keeping this short a touch tricky ;)
  
  If there were a picture to describe her there would have to be stars and galaxies involved, to give us the wide view and show the scale of her vision, but that would only a small fragment of it. Clouds are what first drew me into her photostream, so obviously there must be clouds too.
  
  We need smaller things too, like flowers, for in addition to seeing the beauty of the wider picture she's capable of seeing and sharing the beauty in the intricate details of the world too.
  
  Fire, for sure, her wildfire coverage is amazing. We need some Earth in there too. I guess in some ways Darlisa is all around us. Ooops, it looks like I've made her out to be a god; I can't guarantee that (nor can I deny it), all I know for certain is that she's a great photographer and a wonderful friend!"

She is obviously a nature lover so you will find everything from macros of water drops, plants, and such to the gorgeous landscapes of mountains, lakes, vales, and farms in her part of the world. Her “Lenticular Slideshow” is a classic set of unusual cloud formations that was even featured in publication on the subject. She is so dedicated that she takes three hour walks around her town after work just looking for new and interesting things to shoot. She is a keen observer of local life as well as nature.
