Hello and welcome to my photo-stream!
I recently bought my first DSLR – the all mighty Canon 450D. I fell in love with photography as soon as I started clicking and became addicted to Flickr almost instantly.
If you have a look around my stream, you’ll notice images mostly of landscapes, sunsets and architecture. I love being outside peaking at the sun through the viewfinder or taking images of beautiful landscapes.
Most of my pictures are in HDR, and I guess I can’t help my self when it comes to HDR. I am not a big fan of HDR-TO-THE-MAX type of shots, so I am learning how to process my HDR shots using the DRI (Dynamic Range Increase) technique.
All my images are Creative Commons licensed so you can do whatever you wish to do with them. If you use them, it would be nice to mention my name somewhere.
If you need full-resolution watermark-free images please contact me and I'll be more thank happy to provide them.

"Sam was one of my first friends here on flickr. Although his images have always been great he has evolved into an incredibly talented photographer. His HDR work is among the best I have see here on flickr.
Sam is very supportive and always has something fun and different to say other than the run of the mill comment, he is just plain fun!!! If I had to pick a favorite in his stream I don't think I could but "I fell in love with a praying mantis" comes to mind thinking of his images. I can envision him in that yard and it makes me laugh. I can also see him now teaching his future little Maya's and Sam's how to fall in love with a praying mantis.
I am grateful Sam calls me friend!!
