We study biogeochemical processes that control environmental change on human timescales. Isotopes provide a unique tool because they indicate, record, integrate, and trace throughout the global environment. From polar ice cores to global greenhouse gas analysis, we use stable isotopes to help expand our knowledge of global climate change.
