I grew up in north California, spent eight amazing years in New York, including four living and working in NYC, and now I live in Taipei, where I make it my mission to develop an encyclopedic firsthand knowledge of 台北最美味的小吃. Mmm...小吃...

I earn my keep as a reporter, covering design and culture in Taipei. I take photos of my adventures to share with my family and friends and help my shaky memory -- and if more people learn about what an interesting place Taipei is through my photostream, then all the better.

I am very hesitant when people friend me, favorite my pics or leave comments who have no photos available to me in their stream or profile info -- especially if all of their favorites or contacts revolve around some sort of fetish. Hey, whatever floats your boat -- but I reserve my right not be forced to participate in your little peccadillo and will block your account. Sorry, toots.
