I live in beautiful Troutdale, Oregon, USA.

Last fall I lost my my best friend, my husband. I am who I am today. I am who I am becoming.

I think my screen name says a good deal - I'm Nana. And I love it!

I've always wanted to take awesome photographs. I spent a few years occasionally photographing weddings professionally. I found it toooo tense.

After I had been on Flickr for awhile, I began realizing how much I could learn from others' photostreams. I was thrilled to see people from so many countries. How very, very exciting. I wanted to see everything and learn everything.

One night I felt very daring. I clicked the button and started the group "We All are the People." (This was a mistyping as it was supposed to say We are all the people...but I like it anyway). I am meeting people young and old. I am seeing photographs from around the world.
