I Am Who I Am and No One Can Change That

My names Kathleen, but most people just refer to me as Kat or Katie. My sister actually never knew my real name was Kathleen until she was in 5th grade. I started to take up photography about a year ago with my little Sony DSC-W50 that I purchased on my own (I was so proud of myself) and used quite often. After starting to really enjoy taking pictures with my little camera I decided it was time for an upgrade. Thanks to a great uncle who has sense passed away part of the money from his inheritance that was given to my mother (you follow me) went towards my new Rebel XT. Even though I would have loved to get something a little nicer it's perfect for a beginner and I have shot 1,000+ pictures since I've gotten it. I'm really looking forward to taking more and it's actually given me an oppurtunity to travel more and see things that I don't see all the time. Photography for me has been a really eye opening experience and it has given me some peace in my life as weird as that sounds.

Facts About Me

I almost never drink alcohol.

I have never been to a club and I don't care to. Just not my thing.

I am very into visiting churches especially Roman Catholic (since I am one, but I find some of them to be the most beautiful).

I have a strong hatred towards odd numbers. I just don't like the damn things. I do count how much food I put into my mouth at times and if I'm eating cereal I do make sure there is an even amount left in the bowl before I start finishing it off. I do not have OCD!

I am anemic, therefore I cannot give blood, I am slightly afraid of needles so even if I could I would probably pass out.

I have a form of Valvular Heart Disease, though it is not fatal. If I go to the dentist however and he requires me to undergo any type of dental work I will have to take antibiotics beforehand, if not I run the risk of my heart getting infected.

I stepped on a set of shark's teeth when I was younger. Talk about painful.

I have also already undergone a knee surgery which I have a cool video of collecting dust somewhere in our house.

I want to move to Fort Wayne, IN. for some odd reason.

I love snow even though we never get any.

I wish I had green eyes, brown eyes are just to common for me.

I have freckles...a lot of freckles.

My favorite colors are Pink and Blue.

Sometimes I like the fact that I am unique in my own way, but I always wanted to be the popular kid in school.

I am somewhat of a loner as I really only have 1 real friend.

I am extremely close with my cousins (Particularly Megan, Kelly, and AnnMarie) and I hate that they live 6 hours away.

I have been on medications for depression and social anxiety.

I am half Sicilian and on my dad's side I am French, German, Swiss, Dutch, and a tiny bit of Native American.
