Photography makes for one hell of a hobby. In terms of forcing you to observe the world around you I'm not sure there are many others that can come close (ok, excluding things like motorbike racing or skydiving or some other similarly high-stress activity which would result in misplacement of bodily function in the event of lack of focus).

I travel mostly to satisfy some deep rooted wanderlust, and photography certainly doesn't help minimize the desire to constantly be on the move. The photos don't necessarily have to be exceptional; this is a hobby after all, so short of taking shots I enjoy and self-improvement there is little "stress".

In Stockholm now through the end of 2011. Trying to squeeze some more travel in around the continent before I make my way back to the US, or where ever else the company decides to ship me next.
