I am an amateur "amateur photographer"

I Became interested in photography in late 2006 with a Canon A710IS point and shoot.

When I realized I was serious about this hobby I bought myself a Nikon D80, with a Sigma DC 18-50mm 2.8 EX Macro, Nikkor DX ED 55-200 VR lens and a Nikkor AF 50mm 1.8 (well this was a gift from friends) and made myself poor in the process. But its worth it for the hours of pleasure it has give me.

I am not selective in my subject content. I take photos of anything and everything that catches my eye. I am also not a purist and most photos have had some post processing. Where it is minimal post-processing such as cropping, brightness/contrast, converting to sepia/B&W, or rotation/adjustment of horizon line I have not mentioned it, but for anything involving a little bit more I have added a few notes to the picture description outlining what I did.

Also taking my cue from Mazda6 I have tried to include some ramblings about each photo. Not for all though.

Hope you enjoy the photos here and I always appreciate constructive criticisms.
