I've enjoyed photography from an early age, even trying my had at developing pictures in high school. I had engaged photography as a hobby in my 20's well before the advent of digital photography but gave up the SLR for the convenience of a compact point shoot because I could always have it with me.
I recently reengaged photography as a hobby by purchasing a DSLR and am looking to really expand my skill. I really enjoy photography and I love getting that picture.
