Dilettante photographer. Nature lover and food ogler. People sometimes butt their way into my shots. Nowadays I'm too lazy to use a tripod or climb buildings or lie on the ground for a better shot, but that's ok. Oh, and having found that my friends' pictures of my wedding were largely better than the professional photographer's, I try to pay it forward by bringing my camera to the weddings I attend.

Still learning this digital photography stuff. The last time I was serious about photography was in high school. Photography was too expensive for me in college, so I turned critic, selecting photos for the campus literary/arts magazine. I've seen enough to be bored by most of my own stuff, but that won't stop me. Was given a digital SLR a couple years ago, and I will never look back. I avoid using flash whenever possible because it looks bad--or, to be more accurate, I haven't figured out how to make it look good.
