Apparently I'm a Yankee
I take pictures of things I make, grow, eat, love, things that piss me off, things I don't want to forget or just cause I have an itchy shutter button finger. I don't have any great technical expertise. I don't have the financial resources to buy a camera with a big shiny lens and lots of fun little buttons in order to take "better" photos, nor is getting one a priority. I put a lot of effort into some of the photos I take; others are merely collected for recording purposes.
I started off with a 110mm Kodak when I was five, and have worked my way up to a Canon EOS 650, "back down" to the A640, and recently upgraded to a Nikon D40x.
Feel free to be critical! I find it hard to believe that everyone loves every photo ever posted on Flickr. Be honest.
