I am married and a father of three daughters, and we live in the bavarian countryside. Working as a senior GIS specialist I am occupied with mapserver programming to show the status of Munich's environment in maps. Free and open source software forms my tools here and has never disappointed me. My second professional focus is running international projects in Sri Lanka on the fields of rebuilding of infrastructure in the context of post-tsunami-help and capacity building for municipal council administrations in the field of environment planning.
