Landscape and its photography are amongst my major passions.
I have my own photographic philosophy: I favour using various techniques and equipment to produce photos that convey a feeling or message rather than a naive "realism". That said, much of my work probably counts as unmanipulated. I strongly believe that it's not the subject-matter you shoot that makes a photo, compared to what you do to it, both at source and afterwards. Therefore there is no "right" exposure in any photo beyond what the artist intended; there are very few rules beyond "did it make someone else think, possibly even think the same thing as me?".
