I am an artist, crafter, photographer and outdoor enthusiast. I specialize in interdisciplinary art, book arts, and writing.

I never leave home without a camera, if I can help it. If I forget to bring one along, it's always by accident.

I'm very much an enthusiastic amateur photographer. But everyday, I'm learning more and more.

I tend to notice unique perspectives on the world around me. I like capturing my viewpoint in some frozen moment of space and time. Sometimes I feel like I just "see" things differently.

I've upgraded to a Canon Rebel XTi and am still learning to use it properly. I'm still very attached to my little Fuji FinePix. On some occasions, I use an old school Minolta 35mm (which is older than I am).

I RARELY re-touch my images. Occasionally I brighten them up a tad. I try to "frame" my photo properly when I shoot, and avoid cropping or correcting with Photoshop. It does sometimes happen that it's necessary or FUN to do so. I almost always comment about any retouching or cropping in the photo description.
