Heartbreaking Dawns is The New York Hudson Valley’s premier producer of all-natural artisan sauces and spice blends. The company, which is independently owned and operated, began when Johnny Mclaughlin and Nicole Ramsperger started creating fiery taste sensations in the spring of 2008. With a passion for heat and a thirst for flavor, the two concocted homemade sauces for everyday meals. It was no coincidence that the varieties of hot peppers from the garden found their way into just about all of them. Friends and family saw potential in the flavors the two were creating and encouraged them to take it to the next level. There was no idea as what to expect! Friends and family loved the sauces, but what would strangers think? With a carload of sauces and some clever labels, they set out to a local fair. The response was overwhelming. This was all they needed to push forward and try out more events, create new products and begin a journey into the world of fiery foods. By the fall of the following year, Heartbreaking Dawns officially launched with three original hot sauces. Shortly after that , they followed up the sauces with some very unique award-winning preserves. The two travelled as far as they could, telling everyone they came across about their products. By the end of 2010 the company had already expanded with a line of exceptional dry rubs, delicious grilling sauces and even some decadent fiery brownies. With a growing number products and places lined up for the new year, Heartbreaking Dawns have only begun to tap the endless possibilities in producing truly tasty, and always handcrafted, fiery foods products.
