About Me
I live in the beautiful wine country of Northern California and spend my time dabbling in photography, cooking, gardening (especially roses), bird watching, sewing, quilting, knitting and more.
If you're my partner in a swap, don't stress! I like almost every color (just not drab, please), although blue and purple don't seem to appear in any room of my house. I love all bright, saturated colors, including red, yellow, any shade of green, teal, and orange. I love text fabrics, and I love brights with black and white or with brown or grey. Lately I'm loving quilts with lots of white. When I look at my fabric stash, it looks like green is becoming my favorite color -- such infinite variety, but still called green.
As far as techniques, I love free piecing, paper piecing and applique. I value people doing their best work more than worrying about complicated designs, so do something that's fun for you to make, and put your heart into it. I'll love it!
What do I love in general? Hmmm...... family, friends, birds (especially ravens), cats, roses, living in the wine country, being retired!
