About my photosophy:

I believe that my photography is about the beauty accessible to all. I think there are many beautiful things and people in the world, and that we just need to open our eyes and look at it, instead of walking right by it... there is so much unseen beauty out there.

I moved to the SF Bay Area in 2003 from the Alps. I was surrounded by mountains for decades, and seeing a sunset over the ocean made we want to stay forever.... I try to go out every night and see it, I can never get tired of the new colors which seem to spring from the sky here.

I hope you enjoy this, and thank you for browsing. I look through everyone-who-leaves-a-comment's photo, and if you ask a question, I will answer, if not on the stream, in FlickrMail. I also systematically look through my contacts' photos.

My favorite activity on Flickr is to FaveSurf. It's my new sport. When you leave comments, or when I have you as a contact, I check out your faves... and see what are their faves etc... love it. If you haven't, try it!
