I started taking photos in about 6th grade with a point and shoot. Before long, I was hooked. The jump to digital has allowed me a different kind of freedom - the freedom to go for a shot and see what happens as it doesn't waste any paper or printing fees if it doesn't work out.
I'm an energetic, passionate urban planner in Chicago. Chicago is a fabulous place to live, photograph, learn, love and live.
I've been in Chicago for many years now, but was born and raised in the Quad Cities (on the border of Iowa and Illinois). My blue collar roots have served me well.
I think I have a deep appreciation for working class areas. I love to travel, particularly to cities and have seen most of the US major cities and 45 states.
