Plymography Down Under!'s photostream
|
I'm now based in Adelaide, South Australia so it's "Plymography Down Under" from now I guess :0)
My work originally started off focusing of architectural and urban details rather than your typical "postcard" type of shots. I love a bit or urban and industrial grime. Give me an abandoned building any day. I'm also a BIG fan of Non Spaces/Urban Spaces. The interpretation of what exactly these are or what the subject matter is roughly all comes from the same song sheet.
A recent passion of mine has been for portrait and modelling shots. Half the fun of doing these is finding the great location to do them rather than a studio (not that I'm belittling studio work as I know it's an art in itself).
Anyway here is my work. I guess you can see the progress of it as its been added to over the years. I love flickr and the power it brings to anyone who has a camera. Not only being able to enjoy sharing your work with others, learning and enjoying work of other photographers has been priceless. Flickr has also provided me with the opportunity to get work published and used in many forms around the world. I have also met some great friends, some in person and some on line through flickr
Thanks for looking at my work. Please leave comments where you see fit to do so both good and bad as the comments do help.
Enjoy, Jason

"Plymography's drive is without limits. His ability to create and recreate are an example of how a passion can elevate the ordinary. No wall remains simply a wall once Plymography has photographed it. No river just a river, no sign just a sign. Like a complex novel drawing different characters together, I watch Plymographys photostream as he pulls Plymouth into one great show. The greatest show on earth."
