I am a jouneyman electrician who after 20 years of climbing ladders is changing jobs. I am taking classes in Community Emergency Management through Ivy Tech Community College, I am also taking classes through the Indiana Dept of Homeland Security. I volunteer with the American Red Cross on the First Aid Team, Disaster Action Team [local], Disaster Services Human Resources [national] and on the Disaster Services Technology group. I am the Vice-President of Central Indiana REACT/CERT/SAR. I am a trained Ground Search and Rescue person. I am a HSEEP [Homeland Security Exercise, Evaluation, and Planning] Trainer. I am CERT trained and hopefully this year will be a CERT Trainer. Numerous FEMA, TEEX, NFA, and John Hopkins Medical Center Certificates about disasters.
