I have re-discovered the joys of photography after purchasing a Canon EOS 350D and a number of lenses. I was learning 35mm film photography as a hobby at college, but could not afford to sustain it until now with the improvement in digital SLR technology. I never had access to a darkroom so I was really only enjoying half the process.

I started using Flickr as a good way to record and document my progress as I learn about photography, but it has turned into something much greater than that. The feedback and knowledge gained from taking part in discussion and comments has been invaluable. Thanks everyone :)

I am completely open to friendly criticism as I want to improve. Please suggest improvements to any photos that I post. I understand a good handful of European languages and I am willing to learn so please comment.
