"Ahhh, Soylent Red...she'd deny any talent (you haven't lived until you've seen her 8th grade self portrait from art class), but it's there. She's also incredibly quick witted, successful, and very very dear to me. When asked who my heros are Melissa always comes to mind. When I have lacked a conscience she's loaned me hers, and when I have needed humor we've had conversations we could never repeat in public. I love this woman! And not in that way. "Not that there's anything wrong with that." It's just that despite our mutual love of Seinfeld references we'd kill each other if we had to live together. But that's part of what makes our friendship so interesting, is that we pick up the slack in each other's lives! I can't wait to go shooting with her this summer before I move to Oregon.
