The sport of Roller Derby is experiencing a rebirth today it boasts more than 300 national leagues in existence. Out of 300 leagues only a 5 of them pay homage to the old school days by skating on a banked track. The girls at South Side Roller Derby are on a mission to raise funds to build, house and maintain a banked roller derby track. The outlook for our goal is promising and we are proud to announce that we are well on our way to bringing Banked Track Women's Roller Derby to Houston Texas! January 2009!
