Southside’s visual and performing arts studios provide new choices for adults with developmental disabilities. Our visual arts program may include painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, woodworking, wire sculpture, knitting, digital art and many other choices. We encourage our artists to create their own projects and methods of working, in order to develop their artistic voice.

Many of our artists choose to exhibit and sell their art at Southside Art Center Gallery and other community exhibitions in the Sacramento area. The artists at Southside have a great time creating art, and many are empowered from their artwork that is sold.

The Southside Art Center Gallery is located in Sacramento, California in the Country Club Plaza mall near Macy's.
