About Southernpixel / Alby Headrick  

My interests in science, art, nature, color and printing have influenced and led me through my ventures into digital photography.

My youth was spent in Hattiesburg, MS and I have relatives all along the gulf coast and in Louisiana. As I grown older, I have spent a lot of time in New Orleans, where the Creole spirit captured me. Deep sea fishing, and sailing to the barrier islands, all took their part influencing my coastal attitude. My trips to the Everglades of Florida, Acadiana of Louisiana, and along the Natchez Trace, as well as camping in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains are guaranteed to be reflected in my future works.
