Photography is one of the voices in my head. My photo voice is the senior staff member of the creative department of my psyche. Not always the loudest, but the most trustworthy.

I do not display my images in groups. I played around with them for a while, but found in the end that I had hundreds of empty comments with meaningless "award" graphics. I spend enough time shooting and developing my images. I just don’t have the time or interest to influence the marketing data that a computer algorithm requires to determine the “interestingness” of my images.

I enjoy Flickr. I enjoy looking at other’s work. I enjoy the uniquely personal portal through the eyes of others into areas of the world not readily accessible in many other formats. There are so many images out there, and thousands more are uploaded every minute. Very cool.
