Hi,

I love photography because I feel the need to capture that special beauty of life and to try to save those special moments. Life is beautiful, sometimes ugly, tragic, sad and even terrible. But still beautiful.

Although I know it is impossible to make all the special moments and pictures stay, not even by taking as many pictures as possible, I try and keep trying! :-)

I enjoy landscapes pictures as much as macros, I like b/w and colourful, small and big, cute and sad, it just depends.

If you have technical or other advice on my pictures: you are very welcome, please let me know if you think I can improve (you certainly will).

You will find some intentional artsy stuff but not all pictures have the intention of being art, some only want to "be".

I started with a 365 project in 2008 but I didn't complete it, because life came in between and sometimes you have to set priorities, so for quite a while I did not take many pictures and when I took some, I didn't manage to upload or to title, tag and describe them. I am sorry there are gaps but it still was an experience. Some days have pictures but they might be put back on private.

Ah, by the way, I live in Hamburg in Germany, but I used to live in Ireland for almost four years and that's where I took a major part of my stock. So sometimes you might find titles or descriptions in german and english, but sometimes only in one language, depending on my lazyness or incapabilty to express myself in the other language.
