*SCUBA and underwater photography.
-Diving about five years.
-Qualified PADI Divemaster
-First cam was a pixtreme and housing (cost $200 Aus) which allowed me to take pics of vague green blobs underwater.
-Current rig a Canon G10 in Ikelite housing with ds51 substrobe.
-So far only one overseas dive trip, dived the Coolidge in Vanuatu. Booked for a Tonga trip with the scuba doc in 2010, though hope to fit in a couple of trips before then. Dreaming of macro in Lembeh, though a couple of underwater archeology sites are of interest- Yonaguni and Nan Madol.
Would love to be the first to take pics of a currently unheard of Australian(Even South Pacific) underwater forbidden archeology site and be known for that. I haven't found it yet, though have my eyes and ears open.

Ethereal-
The vagaries, the wonders of life and living upon Earth at this time are unfathomable. My life's journey has taken me to high mountain peaks and into deep, dark valleys from which I feared I would not escape.
I attempt to see the Divine in everything, and have found that underwater it is so inspiring, and so much easier to see the Hand of the Creator, sculpting colours, patterns, textures that often may superficially seem incongrous yet on a deeper level is alluding to the underlying perfection of Creation.
Mundane-
*Education at Peninsula Church of England Grammar, then a Bachelor of Science (Zoology major) at the University of Melbourne.
*Worked early on at McDonald's, making shift manager. A long time working Nightfill at Safeways, anything from casual to 2IC to Nightfill manager. Was a cowboy (truck jockey) for a couple of years on the rickety recycling trucks before the one armed bandits were phased in. I especially remember having to lift one of those black crates full to overflowing of empty stubbies over the side of a slippery truck at about 2 and a half to 3 metres above the ground in the pouring rain and dunk it over the top. Then on to public toilet cleaner for a subcontractor to the Shire of Mornington for a few years. This included stints driving a garbage truck and working on the drain truck. Currently packing and delivering gourmet bread to wineries, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets on the Peninsula.
*ANZSES expeditions. Went on three expeditons with the now defunct Australia and New Zealand Scientific Exploration Society to the tropical rainforests. Counted pigeons, mist netted bats, captured and recorded invertebrates in Rainforest around Cooktown. Great fun!
*Spiritual. Have been to the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Ashram in India four times. Have read spiritual/new age literature extensively and experimented with psychic classes, meditation, astral travel and the like. In the last few years I have been and am a conspiracy buff, researching topics such as Illuminati, 911 Truth, NESARA, Saint Germain, Telos, D.U.M.B.s and the Disclosure Project.
*Dreams. To one day be a father. Looking forward to 2012, the commonly believed time of the dawn of a New Age of peace and harmony.
