franklybenjamin says:
"emily is fantastic at photography and actually cares about what's behind each picture, which is a refreshing change. her way of dealing with subjects is really interesting, and convinces anyone who sees her work to look at things differently."

"emily's gift is evident in each of her photographs, or should i say living works of art. it's a remarkable treasure to be able to feel the life in each of her pieces. such a style is one to be adored.

"when i visit this stream, everything goes quiet. i feel like speaking in whispers, treading lightly on tiptoe. the temperature drops in here, in emily's woods. what a beautiful space to be in.
i wish i was a tenth the artist that you are when i was 16.."23rd March, 2009

Tomas Webb says:
"Photography is about light, right?
Except that I never even *noticed* how light behaved until I started visiting emily's stream.
Sure I noticed it when the sun shined upon things and sometimes the way it created shadows, but I was always looking for the bigger picture - the "magic shot" so to speak, where light and shadow interplay in perfect harmony.
Now I know from browsing the stream within that I need not wait for that perfect moment. It's enough to capture those special moments that occur in everyday life that so often get passed up for percieved moments of higher glory."20th March, 2009

"■ emily's work is truely amazing, getting better all the time. i love the poetical eye she looks at the world with - so delicate, so alert. so fragile, in a way. but of stunning beauty. she sees spaces that are just beautiful to dwell in. i love her work."

ellie!! says:
"emily is quite the sophisticated one. she has that primal skill that enables her to take the mundane tree branches or grass blades we all brush through daily and isolate them into a square window, as if you yourself have tripped and fallen face first into a patch of beautifully illuminated weeds. it'll make you want to stop and smell the roses, definitely."

sunday chores says:
"emily is just a genius. she makes everything from our normal lives appear so much more detailed and interesting. i love every photograph she makes. im thinking i should move to the suburbs, just so i can make photographs that are almost as awesome as hers."
