Born and raised in the Netherlands, Sophie is a Dutch woman who loves to travel. She has a profound love for the United States of America and has even lived there as a teenager during a high school exchange in California. .

She is studying English and Education and will continue her studies in the field of Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition at the University of Cambridge and pursue a career in teaching and educational advise/research. She does not have a permanent home, but rather lives by her own saying ‘home is where my feet are’ and is used to living out of a suitcase, having moved 26 times in the past 6 years switching between the Netherlands, the USA and the UK. (and currently Bulgaria)

Her main interest and strong suit in photography is modern architecture. She owns a darling little Ixus compact camera, an EOS D-SLR, an old analog Pentax and Nikon and a plastic little Diana lomography and pinhole camera.
