Some days, I find I'm just in a photographic mood, and like to go round spotting interesting details and angles that many would pass by.

I have an Olympus OM-10 (non-digital SLR) - which I haven't used for a while - and a Casio EX Z-1050 (digital compact), which has the big advantage of being pocket sized and with me wherever I go.

I also recently bought an "i-gotU" GPS logger - a tiny little brick with one button. Not brilliantly accurate, but so small I can hang it from the side of my camera, and geotag everything when I get home!

Until recently, all my photos have been basically as taken - maybe cropped to bring out a closeup or tweak the framing, or contrast-adjusted. But I've just begun getting the hang of "proper" tools like layer masks in the GIMP, which adds a whole new dimension to the hobby, in a way.
