Just having fun with Digital Photography.
I am just taking pictures for fun and to share with my friends and family. I would like to get better, so any constructive remarks will be greatly appreciated.

My cameras are.....

Fuji Finepix S5000: This was the first digital camera that I got and I had a great time shooting with it. It has very good quality and was easy to use. I have since given this one to my sister who impresses me every time she takes a shot!

Fuji Finepix S9000: This was my main camera (I've just upgraded to an Olympus DSLR). Although this isn't a DSLR, it has many of the features I'd expect to find in one, less the interchangeable lenses. I used this to learn before I dove into the 'big' purchase. It has very good quality and allows me to try out a lot of different things. Although center stage has been changed, I plan to continue having fun with this very good camera.

Canon PowerShot A610: This camera has much better quality than I expected. I got it 'free' for spending sooooo much money using my AmericanExpress card.

Olympus FE240: I'm not happy with the picture quality, but this is my most portable camera. Since it is so easy to carry around, some of my favorite shots were taken with this one. I just wish the quality had been better.

Olympus E-620: I finally took the plunge and got my new toy May 21, 2009. After looking over numerous reviews of several different Olympus possibilities, as well as Canon and Nikon, I finally decided on the E-620 with two 'kit' lenses. The reviews all noted the difficulties with the menus and I found they were right, but nothing is too difficult to overcome and now that I have the camera 'personalized' I am VERY happy with my choice. After only a little practice I find it is very user-friendly (to me) and am ready to start experimenting.
