Realities Camouflaged...

I never fail to be mesmerized with the wonders of nature,

Life Can Be Complicated

the beautiful gift that we usually take for granted,

Lost in the Horizon

shared with the amazing creatures in this planet we call home,

Can I Cheer Up Your Monday?

where man-made structures and objects spreading like wildfire,

Rain is Bliss

but there are things around us that may translate to something more meaningful,

Don't Hate Me Because I'm Different

designed and built by Earth most intelligent species, which is human,

Lonely Swingers

and yet, human can be the most complex subject to understand,

The Man Who Sold His World

with expressions that sometimes can change how we reflect to ourselves.

“He who wants a rose must respect the thorn.”

I'm an engineer by profession. The kinda job that involves facts, calculations and schematics.

Somehow I always know there is an artistic side in me, completely detached from the daily routine. Those imagination become thin lines that borders realities.

I started my journey in photography in 2006 with a simple 3.2MP point & shoot camera (Sanyo Xacti) mainly for leisure usage but only in early 2008 I ventured into DSLR scene. Then in Oct 2008, I got myself connected to the world of photographers, Flickr.

I love to capture something which has its own story and translate those images to my very own interpretation. I'm fully aware that brilliant photos need no title or interpretation because they speak volume.

The reason behind my interpretation is just to share my story and at the same time trying to create the connection between the viewers and the images. But then, interpretations may vary as images do speak thousands of words.

I just started a group with a theme focusing on artistic and still life images (Malaysian chapter), feel free to join:

"Yusri Yusof – a real photographer, idealist, and artist. I am impressed by his sense of imagination. He is a master at the art of seeing. He conveys a set of rich elements in all of his pictures: color, lines, form, depth, and more. There is also something that Yusri does very well is set aside the preconceptions of how pictures should look. He does his homework before he shoots. I give him high marks for all of his photographs.
