Beauty, like love, is precious. Living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world makes it easy to appreciate the great subjects around.

My job is very hectic and photography has become my 'escape' from an often mad and sad world. I love being out in nature or just watching people, capturing the innocence of children or the wreckless abandon when enjoying what nature has to offer.

My previous camera (Kodak Easyshare) was very basic but I have now (September 2009) bought myself a Nikon. It's only a baby (D60) but I'm loving the 'upgrade' and look forward to learning as I go along. I'm not a camera snob and can't tell you the real technical advantages or differences between Canon and Nikon and everything else out there. I got a good deal on a Nikon, that's the only reason I chose it. One thing that everyone says consistently if you ask them for advice is: Spend your money on good glass. I'm intending to do just that. Thank you to everyone who so generously gave me advice. I truly appreciate it!

I still don't have the technical know-how so I still don't use fancy software to enhance my pictures - just the basic crop & light adjustment. I also like to know that the images are what I saw and captured at that moment. It makes me work harder to learn to capture every image better.

I'm still very new to photography and absolutely learning every day. Please stop by and comment - I'll appreciate your constructive feedback.

    Sonja is an amazing photographer and has an eye for composition. Her sunset & sunrise photos are just out of this world. Anything that I say about Sonja would be less. She is a wonderful person, a great friend and a very beautiful and a sexy woman. I always have liked her as a great Flickr friend. After I met her - I actually fell in love with her cute face and that awesome charming smile. She is an amazing woman and I am so proud to be her friend."
